| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF + NO PERMIT FAIL TO EXHIBIT LICENSE | 16:28:00 | 250128000244 | R/O observed a vehicle displaying expired Maryland tags travelling through the Unit Block of H Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of North Capitol and G Streets. When asked for their operator's permit, the driver stated they did not have one on them. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a cancelled District of Columbia operator's permit and no permit status in Maryland or Virginia. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES + | 15:12:00 | 250127000234 | R/O was approached by the Suspect at the South Door of the U.S. Capitol Building. The Suspect made statements of being in possession of several items that were prohibited on U.S. Capitol Grounds and requested to be taken into custody. A search incident to the arrest revealed two bottles of improvised Molotov cocktails, and a folding knife inside of the Suspect's pockets. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS conducted a custodial interview and will continue to investigate. | |
| FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE | 2:31:00 | 250127000229 | R/O observed a vehicle driving with one operable headlight in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street SW. R/O then observed the vehicle turn without stopping through a solid red light at the intersection of South Capitol and M Streets SW. R/O attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle accelerated away at a high rate of speed and proceeded to drive through multiple solid red lights without caution. The vehicle was last seen driving westbound entering the 400 Block of M Street SW. Shortly thereafter, the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia informed the USCP that the vehicle was involved in an accident and the driver was arrested on multiple charges, to include Reckless Driving, Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, and No Permit. CIS will continue to investigate. | |
| FAILURE TO APPEAR + NO PERMIT, COUNTERFEIT TAGS | 21:35:00 | 250127000237 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Second Street SW displaying what appeared to be a counterfeit tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Second Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended Florida license with no valid status in the District of Columbia, and an active bench warrant issued by the D.C. Superior court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| PERMIT SUSPENDED - OAS + FAIL TO EXHIBIT PERMIT COUNTERFEIT TAG | 21:46:00 | 250126000228 | R/O observed a vehicle displaying an "American National" license plate with neither a state affiliation nor a valid expiration date in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Fourth Street NE. The driver provided a foreign international driver's license, but a WALES/NCIC check of the information listed on that document indicated the individual had no operator's permit on file. No other government identification was provided upon request. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. Upon conducting an inventory of the Suspect's property, a credit card with a name different from the one listed on the foreign international driver's license was discovered. Once the Live Scan fingerprinting process was completed, the Suspect was positively identified as the individual whose name was listed on the credit card. A WALES/NCIC check of that information revealed the Suspect's District of Columbia operator's permit was suspended. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. When asked for their operator's permit, the driver could not provide one. A WALES/NCIC check of the of the identifying information provided by the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| NO PERMIT + COUNTERFEIT TAGS FAIL TO EXHIBIT PERMIT | 8:19:00 | 250126000226 | R/O observed a vehicle displaying what appeared to be a counterfeit tag in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed it was associated with a different vehicle and should have displayed a different expiration date. When asked for their operator's permit, the driver could not provide one. However, a WALES/NCIC check of the information listed on the driver's passport revealed they had an expired Maryland operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| POSS OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE + PERMIT REVOKED-OAR | 0:41:00 | 250125000221 | R/Os observed a vehicle idling in a parking spot with the driver passed out behind the wheel in the 500 Block of First Street SW. A welfare check was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended license in Virginia and Maryland as well as a revoked license in the District of Columbia. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a half-empty bottle of alcohol as well as a cup in the front seat cup holder with a liquid emanating the smell of alcohol. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the tag yielded no record on file. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| FLEEING FROM POLICE OFFICER | 11:26:00 | 250124000218 | CIS responded to USCP Headquarters for an individual with an active warrant. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force stopped the individual in the 600 Block of Mississippi Avenue SE and transported the individual to USCP Headquarters. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active arrest warrant issued by the Superior Court for the District of Columbia, confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and processed. |
