CROWDING,OBSTRUCTING OR INCOMMODING 12:11:00 250701002169 R/O observed an active demonstration in a Senate Office Building. Several individuals were observed chanting loudly and singing. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities but failed to comply. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
UNLAWFUL CONDUCT IN CONGRESS 23:10:00 250630002162 R/O observed an individual in the Gallery begin protesting by yelling during a congressional proceeding. The individual was told to cease and desist their disruptive activity but failed to comply. A/O removed the individual from the Gallery. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 12:55:00 250630002156 R/O responded to the U.S. Capitol Building for a report of an active demonstration. Upon arrival, R/O observed several individuals chanting loudly and kneeling, which obstructed the flow of pedestrian traffic and normal building operations. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist demonstration activities, but failed to comply. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT SUSPENDED - OAS 0:18:00 250630002154 R/O observed a vehicle conduct multiple abrupt lane changes without using a turn signal while travelling in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended District of Columbia operator's permit. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 10:52:00 250630002155 R/O-1, R/O-2, and R/O-3 observed an active demonstration in the intersection of First and East Capitol Streets NE. Several individuals were observed chanting loudly, carrying signs and sitting on the roadway, disrupting the flow of traffic in all lanes. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities but failed to comply. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
UNLAWFUL CONDUCT IN CONGRESS: OTHER 19:13:00 250529002150 R/O observed an individual disrupt an ongoing session by shouting from a Gallery of the U.S. Capitol Building. The person was directed to cease and desist their activity, but they failed to stop. Once the presiding officer struck the gavel in order to restore order, the Suspect was removed from the Gallery, placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) 23:25:00 250630002153 R/O observed an individual submit to a voluntary administrative search upon entering the North Screening Facility of the U.S. Capitol Building. During the course of that search, R/O discovered a handgun amongst the person's belongings. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department's Gun Registration Unit revealed the firearm was lawfully registered through the District of Columbia but the individual's concealed carry permit recently expired. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene, and CIS was advised of the offense.
DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 1:42:00 250629002148 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 200 Block of Third Street, SW with no front tag displayed. R/O then observed the vehicle turn right onto the 200 Block of Washington Avenue, SW. A traffic stop was conducted in this same area. Upon approaching the driver's side door, R/O detected a strong odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect. SFST's were administered, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + NO PERMIT 20:56:00 250629002152 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle travelling in the opposing lanes of traffic within the 400 Block of Washington Avenue. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Pennsylvania operator's permit and no permit status in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. When questioned further, the driver admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the evening. SFSTs were then conducted. Upon exhibiting multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 3:09:00 250628002135 R/O observed a vehicle sit for several seconds at a green traffic signal at the intersection of North Capitol and E Streets NW. The driver made several abrupt stops and sat through another green signal at Louisiana Avenue and North Capitol Street NW. The driver then passed through a yellow signal and made an abrupt turn onto the Unit Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. The drivers speech was slow and their eyes were red and watery. SFSTs were administered. Due to many signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
