UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES + POSSESSION OF BB GUN 14:22:00 250304000590 R/O was alerted by A/O of a Suspect in the Lower Senate Park with what appeared to be a pistol in their possession. The Suspect was stopped and investigation revealed the Suspect was in possession of a pistol-shaped self-defense mace spray gun. CSS responded to recover the weapon and process the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was contacted and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 15:37:00 250303000581 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling southbound in the 500 Block of First Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION 11:05:00 250303000575 CIS responded to First and C Streets NE for the report of a found pistol magazine. Upon arrival, R/O was advised by the Witness they were cleaning the rock garden at the location when they discovered a loaded pistol magazine. The 11 round capacity magazine was loaded with 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition. CSS responded and processed the scene. S/A will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 17:30:00 250303000584 R/O observed a vehicle with non-illuminating rear brake lights at the traffic light at Second Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) FELON IN POSSESSION POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE 0:38:00 250303000572 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 100 Block of H Street NE fail to maintain its lane by driving over a lane divider. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's Maryland Drivers Permit revealed a suspended status through Maryland, with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a pistol with a high-capacity magazine loaded with 12 rounds of ammunition was located within the center console. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was contacted and confirmed through MPD's gun registry that the Suspect did not have a firearm registered to him, nor a license to carry in the District of Columbia. Additionally, a law enforcement database check revealed that the Suspect had previously been convicted of a felony.
NO PERMIT 18:29:00 250302000571 R/O responded to a call for a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington Avenue and D Street SW. The Suspect was stopped by R/O after driving through multiple red lights and failing to display a license plate. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + LOANING, REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 16:39:00 250301000568 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags proceed through the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed the tags were expired and registered to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 Block of North Capitol Street NE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed an odor of cannabis emanating from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF 0:43:00 250301000563 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the 300 Block of Independence Avenue SW with the Suspect unconscious behind the wheel. R/O observed that the Suspect's eyes were glassy, bloodshot, and watery. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O smelled the odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 18:01:00 250301000569 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling eastbound in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of Maryland and no valid permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:23:00 250301000567 R/O observed a vehicle fail to stop at a red light at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended license out of Virginia with no valid permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
