FAILURE TO APPEAR (USAO) + FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 22:27:00 2.41021E+11 R/O observed an individual who was believed to be subject to an active arrest warrant standing in front of 2 Massachusetts Avenue NE. A stop was initiated at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual was subject to two separate warrants, one issued through the U.S. Marshals Service and the other issued through the Montgomery Count (MD) Police Department. Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
POSS OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - X2 17:16:00 2.41021E+11 R/O saw a vehicle with no tags traveling in the Unit Block of Mass Ave NW. R/O stopped the vehicle in the 700 Block of N. Capitol St. NE. R/O determined vehicle was not registered. Prior to towing, a search revealed a vial with a white, rock-like material that tested positive for cocaine. Suspect was arrested and processed at HQ. A/O found a small bag with white, powdery material in suspect property that tested positive for methamphetamine. CIS notified.
DUI - FIRST OFFENSE + CARRY PISTOL W/OUT LIC, POSS OF UNREG AMMO, POSS OF UNREG FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSS OF FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE, INTERSTATE TRANS OF FIREARMS 21:50:00 2.41021E+11 R/O was investigating collision, one driver appeared to be impaired. SFSTs showed numerous signs of impairment, Suspect arrested and transported to HQ. Vehicle search yielded 9mm semiautomatic pistol and a 10-round magazine in trunk. Suspect not licensed to carry firearm in D.C.
VANDALISM - DESTROY/INJURE/DEFACE/DAMAGE PROP OR REAL PROP 12:44:00 2.41021E+11 R/O responded to a report of vandalism in the 100 Block of D Street NE. Upon arrival, R/O was advised that two utility task vehicles had graffiti drawn on them with what appeared to be a black ink permanent marker. Immediate attempts to identify and locate a Suspect met with negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS notified.
NO PERMIT + POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALC (POCA) 20:03:00 2.41021E+11 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired registration sticker traveling in the 100 Block of Second Street NE. A traffic stop was initiated in the 200 Block of Second Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended North Carolina operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search, R/O discovered open bottles with contents that emitted a smell consistent with an alcoholic beverage.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 0:39:00 2.4102E+11 R/O observed a vehicle illegally parked in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. The driver of the vehicle exited and was subsequently found vomiting nearby. R/O initiated a welfare check. During the course of the conversation, R/O detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the individual. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrest and processed at HQ.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 21:08:00 2.4102E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with no running lights, pass through a solid red traffic light located at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect had a watery, red tint in their eyes, and a strong odor of marijuana was emanating from the Suspect's vehicle. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested, and processed at HQ.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE + BAIL REFORM ACT- MISD 16:00:00 2.4102E+11 R/O observed an individual, known to the R/O to have an outstanding warrant, in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant through the United States Marshal Service for a probation violation. The Suspect arrested and processed at HQ.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF 2:19:00 2.4102E+11 R/O observed a vehicle conduct an illegal U-turn and drive in the opposing lane of traffic while travelling on Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was initiated at the same location. During the course of the stop, R/O observed the driver had a flush face and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from their breath. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + ALLOW OPERATION W/IMPROPER TAGS 21:27:00 2.41019E+11 R/O observed a vehicle displaying an expired Maryland temporary tag traveling in the Unit Block of I Street SE. A traffic stop was initiated at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag yielded no record on file. Furthermore, the tag was missing several security features known to be associated with the state's official temporary tags. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed the individual had no permit status in D.C., MD or VA. Suspect arrested and processed at HQ.
