DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 0:42:00 241213003183 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on H Street NE at a high rate of speed and making unsafe lane changes. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of H Street NE. R/O smelled the odor of an alcohol beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS 21:02:00 241213003194 R/O observed a vehicle travelling eastbound in the Unit Block of E Street SE with expired tags. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed that the tags did not belong to the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE 7:39:00 241213003184 R/O was flagged down in the 200 Block of D Street SE for a report of a traffic accident. The Complainant stated the Suspects vehicle struck their vehicle at that location and then drove away. A lookout was broadcast via USCP Communications and a subsequent canvass was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT 20:42:00 241212003181 R/O observed a vehicle make a left turn and travel westbound in the eastbound lanes in the 100 block of Constitution Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same block. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid operators permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 18:24:00 241212003179 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 300 M Street SE with a scratched out registration sticker. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1100 Block of Third Street SE. The Suspect admitted to purchasing the vehicle tag and placing it on their vehicle. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O observed several small bottles of alcohol in the vehicle. A/O noticed the Suspects pupils were constricted. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed an envelope containing pills and capsules wrapped in cellophane. CSS later determined the pills and capsules were a controlled substance known as Methylphenidate Hydrochloride.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 16:39:00 241212003178 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags at the intersection of Third and H Streets NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed no return. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED - OAR + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 8:04:00 241212003167 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE with no front tag and heavy windshield tint. A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 Block of Fourth Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a revoked District of Columbia permit with no status in Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag revealed it belonged to a different vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES + CARRYING A LICENSED PISTOL IN A PROHIBITED LOCATION 7:29:00 241212003166 R/O observed the Suspect enter the screening area and place their bag on the X-ray machine at the West Ground Door of a Library of Congress building. During the process, R/O was alerted to a firearm on their screen. Upon further inspection of the Suspect's bag, R/O located a 9mm handgun loaded with one round in the chamber and 10 rounds in the magazine. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS responded and interviewed the Suspect. CSS responded and processed the scene.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE 13:00:00 241211003159 R/O responded to the Rayburn House Office Building for a report of theft. The Complainant stated that he had money stolen from his food service locker multiple times during a one month period. CID will continue to investigate.
DISORDERLY, DISRUPTING GATHERING OR CONGREGATION 10:31:00 241211003158 R/O observed demonstration activity while working a committee in Room 2172 of of the Rayburn House Office Building. The Suspects were yelling and disrupting the committee. The Suspects were given warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to stop. Suspects arrested. Processed at HQ.
