SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, Suspect arrested. Transported to HQ for processing. CSS processed the scene. | |

R/O conducted an administrative search of the Suspect's property and recovered a magazine containing ten rounds of ammunition. Suspect was placed under arrest and processed at HQ. Crime scene tested a bag of a green leafy substance found during the search of the Suspect and it came back with a presumptive positive for THC. | |
| TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 4:14:00 | 2.50403E+11 | R/O responded to check on the welfare of a driver in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW. Upon arrival, R/O located a vehicle with the driver unconscious behind the wheel, and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the open window. A/O shook the driver's shoulder and the Suspect awoke. R/O observed the Suspect speaking in a slurred manner. SFSTs were conducted. Due to signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |

R/O conducted a tag check and confirmed the registration was expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed an expired driving status in Maryland with no valid status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Complainant stated the incident occurred earlier in the day in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE, where their vehicle was struck by the Suspect's vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid drivers permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. Only one vehicle with damage was discovered at the scene. The Complainant stated a silver sedan struck the front driver's side door of their vehicle as they were pulling away from the curb and subsequently left the scene. Attempts to locate the striking vehicle yielded negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense and will continue to investigate. |
