A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle was unregistered, and that the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an unregistered box of ammunition was discovered inside the Suspect's backpack. | |

Upon arrival, R/O was informed by the Complainant, that on December 14, 2023 between 1000 and 1400 hours, an unknown Suspect stole a plant from the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory Building. There was no video surveillance of the theft. A/O photographed and processed the scene. Crime Scene was notified. | |
| DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE | 02:09:00 | 2.31215E+11 | R/O responded to the intersection of Washington and Independence Avenues SW for a welfare check on a vehicle. While speaking with the driver, R/O observed that the Suspect had slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of E Street, NW. During the stop, the operator of the vehicle was unable to provide R/O with a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check of the operator revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and processed on scene. | |
| DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE | DCC 22DC303F | 08:57:00 | 2.31212E+11 | R/O responded to the 400 Block of Second Street NE for a destruction of property report. Upon arrival, R/O met with the Complainant who stated video surveillance showed an unknown Suspect throw a bottle at an entrance door of the building causing significant damage. The video also showed the Suspect enter a vehicle and flee the scene. A search of the area was met with negative results. A/O-1, A/O-2, and A/O-3 responded and processed the scene. S/A responded to the scene and will continue to investigate. |
