TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: FLEEING FROM POLICE OFF - MISD DC 50-2201.05B(B)(1) 16:59:00 230907002063 R/O observed a motorcycle with no license plate travelling westbound in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A traffic stop was attempted unsuccessfully in the same location. A/O observed a motorcycle and driver matching the same description in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted and a WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT I 17:02:00 230907002062 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for a report of a theft of currency. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404 18:27:00 230907002064 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for a report of an assault. The Complainant left the scene prior to R/O arriving and conducting a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect with negative results. Two Witnesses remained on scene and written statements were taken. CIS was notified.
SIMPLE ASSAULT DC CODE 22-404 16:11:00 230906002055 R/O responded to the 300 Block of Second Street NE for the report of an assault. The Complainants stated the Suspect spit on them and struck them with a closed fist twice. A Witness positively identified the Suspect from the assault on scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
BENCH WARRANT-MISDEMEANOR 12:16:00 230906002053 R/O was flagged down in the unit block of E Street SE for an unresponsive female in a vehicle. R/O was able to rouse the Suspect and she refused medical attention. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active bench warrant through the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 08:12:00 230906002050 R/O along with A/O observed a vehicle drive past a down barrier at Checkpoint Four to the unit block of C Street SW without stopping. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 12:46:00 230905002041 R/O observed an individual sitting on the Rotunda Steps of the U.S. Capitol Building. That same individual advised R/O they were violating a stay away order. An inquiry through the USCP Threat Assessment Section revealed an active barring notice from U.S. Capitol grounds. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - MISD + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: THEFT IN THE SECOND DEGREE (THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE) FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 10:38:00 230905002038 R/O was flagged down for the report of a break-in of a vehicle in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE. R/O located the Suspect in the unit block of E Street NW near the vehicle and in possession of a clear bag with items from that vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check revealed an extraditable warrant out of Montgomery County, MD, for Failure to Appear for an Assault. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. CSS was notified, processed the scene, and recovered the items.
CARJACKING 03:38:00 230902002024 R/O witnessed two armed Suspects carjacking a vehicle in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. The Complainants stated to R/O that one Suspect pointed a gun and ordered them out of their vehicle. The Suspects drove the Complainants vehicle southbound in the 500 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. A search for the Suspects was met with negative results. The Complainants' vehicle was later recovered in the rear of the 100 Block of 55th Street SE. CSS processed the vehicle. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: TRAFFIC - PERMIT - FAIL TO EXHIBIT TRAFFIC - MISUSE OF TAGS 19:54:00 230902002026 R/O observed a vehicle with tags affixed to the rear bumper park in the unit block of Louisiana Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag revealed that it belonged to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. During the stop, the Suspect was unable to provide R/O with a physical driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.
