The records check also revealed the Suspect had a suspended driver's license out of Maryland, with no status in the District of Columbia, or Virginia. A traffic stop was initiated at the same location. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspect seemingly asleep in the driver's seat. SFSTs were conducted, which yielded numerous signs of impairment. Furthermore, a WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to an active bench warrant held by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, which was subsequently verified by Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. | |
