THEFT II 13:02:00 230816001906 R/O responded to a House Office Building for the report of a theft. The Complainant advised their electrical multi-meter went missing from a toolbox sometime on August 15, 2023. The USCP Command Center reviewed footage which revealed that the electrical multi-meter was stolen by an unknown subject on August 15, 2023 at approximately 0953 hours. A canvas of the area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 05:45:00 230816001905 R/O conducted a subject stop in the area of First and East Capitol Streets SE for an individual matching a lookout. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspects name revealed two active extraditable warrants out of Kentucky. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - $1000+ - FELONY 09:10:00 230815001902 R/O responded to Louisiana Avenue and D Street NW for a report of a damaged vehicle. Upon arrival, R/O made contact with the Complainant who stated he parked the vehicle on the west curb of the 300 Block of New Jersey NW at 0910 hours. When the Complainant returned at 1110 hours, there was large scratches on the drivers side, passengers side, and rear end of the vehicle. CSS responded and processed the scene. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 02:19:00 230815001900 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red signal at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and D Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC of the Suspect revealed a suspended operators permit in Maryland, with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 10:48:30 230815001901 R/O conducted an administrative WALES/NCIC inquiry on an individual seeking employment. The WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an active, extraditable warrant issued out of Manassas, Virginia. Once the warrant was confirmed, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD 02:55:00 230815001899 R/O was in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW when a Complainant reported his property was destroyed. The Complainant stated unknown Suspects attempted to cut the lock and steal his scooter while it was secured to a fence at that same location. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 03:39:00 230813001893 R/O observed a vehicle with no headlights illuminated that travelled eastbound in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 300 Block of Fourth Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - UNDER $1000 - MISD 15:00:00 230812001887 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW for a report of damage to property. The Complainant advised they parked their vehicle earlier in the day with no damage. When the Complainant returned, they observed a long scratch on the driver's side of the vehicle. CSS responded, and processed the scene.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT & RUN 06:00:00 230812001892 R/O responded to the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE to meet with a Complainant. When R/O arrived on scene, the Complainant stated that he parked his car in a parking spot, and upon return, discovered damage to the vehicle. CSS responded, and processed the scene. CIS was notified, and will continue to investigate.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE + ADDITIONAL CHARGES: NO PERMIT 15:49:00 230811001884 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle, NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a confirmed active warrant out of Maryland. The inquiry also revealed the Suspect had a suspended operators permit in Maryland, with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
