SFSTs were conducted; due to the multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest; and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check on the license plate revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect which revealed a revoked driver's license in the District of Columbia, and no status in Maryland or Virginia. At the same location R/O located a single vehicle crash where the driver stood next to the vehicle. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed slurred speech, and detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from their breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to HQ for processing. CSS responded, and processed the scene. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license out of South Carolina, and no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. When the vehicle approached a red light at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and I Street SE, R/O observed the vehicle as it stopped beyond the stop line, and entirely within the crosswalk. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of I Street SE. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's Maryland permit revealed it was suspended, with no status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. Upon arrival, the Complainant reported they left their laptop in their office on February 8, 2024. When the Complainant returned on February 9, 2024, the laptop was missing; an immediate canvas of the area yielded negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. While conversing with the Suspect, R/O noticed that an odor consistent with Phencyclidine (PCP) was emanating from their breath. SFSTs were conducted and, due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |

R/O located the vehicle in the 200 Block of Second Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed that the vehicle was stolen out of Lake Charles, Louisiana. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 800 Block of Bladensburg Road NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a fully extraditable warrant issued through the Miami Dade Police Department and no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS notified. Investigation continuing. |
