A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. R/O attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle suddenly fled at a high rate of speed into oncoming traffic, and ignored a solid red traffic light. As R/O canvassed for the vehicle, numerous witnesses advised R/O the Suspect parked in a garage located in the 100 Block of Indiana Avenue NW. R/O was alerted the Suspect attempted to enter the building associated with the garage, and was detained by their staff. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect. The inquiry revealed a no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to Headquarters, and processed. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed the tag belonged to a different vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect did not have a driver's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC check of the VIN revealed the vehicle was stolen. The Suspect was placed under arrest, transported to HQ and processed. CSS responded, and processed the scene. CIS was notified, and will continue to investigate. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFF | DCC | 50DC2201.05 [B][1]X | 00:51:00 | 240212000000 | R/O responded for the report of a vehicle accident @ the South Capitol Street exit of Interstate 695. At the same location R/O located a single vehicle crash where the driver stood next to the vehicle. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O observed slurred speech, and detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage that emitted from their breath. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to HQ for processing. CSS responded, and processed the scene. |
