TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 22:16:00 230919002166 R/O observed a vehicle blocking the roadway in the 400 Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 23:08:00 230917002145 R/O responded to the area of First Street and Constitution Avenue NW for a report of a reckless driver. A vehicle matching the lookout was observed travelling westbound in the 100 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. While speaking to the driver, R/O observed the driver exhibited slurred speech. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest, and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 00:26:00 230917002140 R/O observed a vehicle run a solid red light at the intersection of North Capitol and Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. Upon speaking with the Suspect, R/O was informed that the Suspect had recently consumed an alcoholic beverage. SFTS's were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and taken to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL RESISTING ARREST TRAFFIC - PERMIT - FAILURE TO EXHIBIT. 13:02:00 230916002132 R/O observed a vehicle pass a red signal at the intersection of Fourth and D Streets SW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Fourth Street SW. R/O approached the Suspect and observed an opened bottle of beer in the vehicle's console. R/O also smelled alcohol emanating from the Suspect's breath. R/O and A/O-1 and A/O-2 ordered the Suspect out of the vehicle. The Suspect became combative and began to fight the officers. The Suspect refused to submit to SFST testing. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect did not possess a valid operator's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. A/O-3 responded, and processed the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE. ADDITIONAL CHARGE: TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID. 22:15:00 230915002131 R/O observed a vehicle pass over the painted intersection threshold line, nearly striking his vehicle, at the intersection of First Street and New Jersey Avenue NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC revealed the Suspect did not have a valid operator's permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. Additionally, the Suspect had a confirmed extraditable warrant out of Front Royal, Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE (CPWL). ADDITIONAL CHARGES: UNREGISTERED FIREARM UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES. 11:18:00 230914002116 R/O was at the Offsite Delivery Center when A/O advised R/O that a handgun was seen in the Suspect's backpack during the screening process. A/O-2 responded and processed the scene. A search of the backpack revealed a handgun loaded with six rounds of ammunition. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department Gun Registration Unit revealed the Suspect did not possess a license to carry a firearm or ammunition in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. S/A was notified and will continue to investigate.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY - MISD 22:15:00 230914002125 R/O observed an individual step over the "No Public Access" stanchions into a restricted area of the House Steps of the U.S. Capitol Building. The Suspect was stopped at the top of the steps in the restricted area. The Suspect was escorted down the steps and subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O and S/A were notified and will continue to investigate.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT-NO VALID 09:43:00 230914002113 R/O was traveling eastbound on Constitution Avenue NE when a vehicle failed to yield right of way by turning in front of R/O onto Second Street NE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of A Street NE. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect had a suspended Virginia license with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: RECKLESS DRIVING - MISD TRAFFIC - ACCIDENT - LEAVING SCENE - PROPERTY DAMAGE POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE. 10:23:00 230914002114 R/O and A/O were flagged down in the 500 Block of First Street SE for a traffic accident. The Complainant stated the Suspect vehicle side swiped them and then fled the scene. The Complainant pointed to the Suspect vehicle as it was leaving the scene. R/O observed the vehicle driving aggressively and failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Second Street and Duddington Court SE. A traffic stop was initiated in the 500 Block of Second Street SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's breath. R/O also observed two open containers of liquid consistent with an alcoholic beverage located inside of the vehicle. The Suspect refused R/O's request for SFST's. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. A/O-2 responded and processed the scene.
THEFT II 18:50:00 230012002099 R/O responded to a House Office Building for a theft report. Once on the scene, the Complainant stated to R/O they secured their bicycle to a bike rack in the 300 Block of Third Street SW at 1030 hours. When the Complainant returned at 1815 hours, their bicycle was gone. A canvass of the area for a Suspect and the bike was met with negative results.
