TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 0:52:00 241130003071 R/O and A/O observed a vehicle operating with only one headlight running and failing to yield to oncoming traffic at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and M Street SE. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 Block of 2nd Place SE. Upon approach, A/O could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE + POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD 20:17:00 241130003074 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red signal at the intersection of South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue. R/O attempted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. The vehicle continued northbound towards the Third Street Tunnel. A lookout was provided via radio to USCP Communications. R/O reencountered the vehicle at First and C Streets NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. The Suspect was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a bag with two jars containing a green leafy substance, and capsules consistent with Synthetic Cathinones was located. CSS responded to process the scene. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 3:00:00 241130003072 R/O observed a vehicle parked along the east curb, facing the wrong direction, on a one way street in the 400 Block of Second Street SW. R/O conducted a welfare check. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect returned with negative results. A/O responded to assist with the investigation. Upon approach, A/O noticed the Suspect eyes were glassy and red, and speech was slurred. Due to suspicion of impairment, SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + RECKLESS DRIVING 0:41:00 241128003057 R/O observed a vehicle nearly strike a pedestrian as it travelled through the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was then seen driving erratically, to include straddling multiple lanes of traffic and failing to use proper turn signals when changing lanes, until a traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of Second Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver's breath. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE + RECKLESS DRIVING 3:53:00 241128003058 R/O observed a vehicle straddling multiple lanes of traffic as it travelled the entire block of 100 Massachusetts Avenue NE. The vehicle continued to drive erratically until a traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of C Street NE. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver's breath. SFSTs were subsequently conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 17:57:00 241127003055 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration in the Unit Block of H Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed an extraditable warrant out of Virginia for failure to appear. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT 1 3:30:00 241127003054 R/O reported to USCP's Training Services Bureau that while at home someone entered his residence and took several USCP issued items to include CDU-GO bag. The Baltimore Police Department was notified and will continue to investigate.
Assault On A Police Officer (Simple Assault) 10:30:00 241127003052 R/O while at Checkpoint 3 was confronted by the Suspect who was screaming aggressively and pointing at the R/O. The Suspect approached the A/O at the same location and struck him two times. While being detained the Suspect spit on a responding officer. The Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 15:17:00 241126003043 R/O observed an individual in the driver's seat of a vehicle idling within a restricted parking space without the appropriate parking permit in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. A stop was subsequently conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the individual operating the vehicle had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
COUNTERFEIT TAGS + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 15:46:00 241125003033 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE with an expired temporary tag. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags revealed no return on file. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O located an open bottle of alcohol under the front passenger seat.
