CARRYING A PISTOL W/O A LICENSE + TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMO FEEDING DEVICE POSSESSION OF UNREG. FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE POSSESSION OF UNREG. AMMO 19:06:00 2.40919E+11 R/O responded to a call for service regarding a Suspect who failed to properly complete the screening process at a House Office Building. The Suspect was suspected of having a firearm. R/O interviewed the Suspect in an attempt to locate the firearm. The Suspect admitted that he left the firearm on a red fire department connection box in the building garage. CSS responded to the scene to recover the firearm. The firearm was loaded with four (4) 9mm rounds in a magazine and zero (0) in the chamber. The recovered magazine was large-capacity and capable of holding more than ten (10) rounds of ammunition. CIS responded and confirmed that the Suspect did not possess a license to carry a pistol or have a registered firearm within Washington, D.C. The Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:58:00 2.40919E+11 R/O observed a vehicle that failed to completely stop at the corner of Second and E Streets NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Second Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT- MISD 14:49:00 2.40919E+11 R/O made contact with the Suspect in the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE. The Suspect matched the description of a BOLO simulcasted by USCP Communications. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant out of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DEFACING PUBLIC PROPERTY- MISD 18:00:00 2.40919E+11 R/O responded to the Unit Block of E Street NE for the defacement of two public signs. Photos of the damage were taken by R/O and the scene was cleared. CSS was notified, but did not respond to the scene.
RECKLESS DRIVING + DUI 16:16:00 2.40918E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE cross the yellow line into oncoming traffic nearly striking a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed the Suspect appeared lethargic, and their speech was delayed and slow. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CARRY PISTOL OUTSIDE HOME/BUSINESS + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE 19:17:00 2.40917E+11 R/O observed a vehicle drive through a solid red traffic light at Columbus Circle and Louisiana Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. During the course of the stop, the Suspect stated they were in possession of a firearm. The Suspect advised they had a handgun permit through Maryland, but no concealed carry license through the District of Columbia. CSS responded to process the scene. A 9mm handgun loaded with a 15-round magazine containing 12 rounds was confiscated. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 21:23:00 2.40917E+11 R/O observed a vehicle without illuminated headlights traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed the driver had glassy, watery eyes and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. Suspecting impairment, R/O attempted to conduct SFSTs. However, Suspect refused to consent. Given the totality of the circumstances, the Suspect was placed under arrest. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open container clearly labeled as an alcoholic beverage was found in a cup holder on the driver's side door. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 13:28:00 2.40917E+11 R/O observed the Suspect sleeping in the park near First and D Streets NE. R/O initiated contact and conducted a WALES/NCIC check, which revealed the Suspect was subject to an active warrant issued through the Marion County Sheriff's Office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Once USCP Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR + LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS (DISORDERLY CONDUCT) PUBLIC URINATION POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 11:39:09 2.40916E+11 R/O observed the Suspect urinating, with their genitalia in plain view of nearby members of the public, at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O immediately conducted a stop. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to an active warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, which was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting a search incident to arrest, R/O discovered a bag with a white, powdery substance in the Suspect's pockets. CSS tested the substance, which was positive for Oxycodone.
ALTERED REGISTRATION 20:59:00 2.40916E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with tinted windows travelling eastbound in the 500 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's rear tag revealed it was expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. Further investigation revealed the tag was intentionally altered with a counterfeit expiration sticker. CSS responded to process the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
