FAILURE TO APPEAR + TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE 16:27:00 2.40916E+11 R/O observed an individual known to have outstanding warrants in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. As R/O attempted to initiate a stop, the Suspect ingested an unknown substance, which they later claimed was marijuana. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to two active warrants issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, which were confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 2:00:00 2.40916E+11 R/O observed a vehicle cross the double yellow line and proceed into the opposing lane of travel in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a suspended Virginia driver's license and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
VOYEURISM - RECORDING 17:00:00 2.40916E+11 R/O was approached by an individual who claimed someone was taking unwanted photos of them in a private setting within Union Station. The Complainant stated they observed a cell phone that appeared to be taking pictures over the side of the bathroom stall they were using. When the Complainant confronted the individual holding the phone, the person ran away. The Suspect was last seen heading northbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A search for the Suspect met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
SIMPLE ASSAULT + RESISTING ARREST LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS (DISORDERLY CONDUCT) 15:07:00 2.40916E+11 R/O observed an individual exposing their genitalia to passing cars in the 200 Block of First Street NW. R/O immediately initiated a stop, but the Suspect attempted to leave the area despite multiple commands to halt. As R/O effected arrest, the Suspect refused to place their hands behind their back. Once the Suspect was under control, a nearby bystander approached the scene to advise they had been struck by the Suspect prior to R/O's arrival. A witness corroborated this statement. The Suspect was subsequently transported to Headquarters for processing.
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE + FLEE LAW ENFORCEMTENT OFFICER 17:22:00 2.40915E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with a covered rear tag traveling in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NE/NW. A traffic stop was attempted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE/NW. The vehicle fled and was last seen traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on North Capitol Street NE/NW. Further attempts to locate the vehicle met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 1ST OFF + AUTHORITY TO CARRY FIREARM IN CERTAIN PLACES FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES CARRYING A LICENSED PISTOL WHILE IMPAIRED 3:02:00 2.40915E+11 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a solid red light at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Second Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Second and C Streets SW. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed that the Suspect's eyes were watery and a strong odor of alcohol emanated from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O discovered a firearm loaded with seven (7) rounds in the magazine and one (1) round in the chamber. CIS conducted a check of the Metropolitan Police Department's gun registry, which verified the Suspect has a valid concealed carry license for the District of Columbia. CSS responded and processed the scene.
NO PERMIT 0:10:00 2.40915E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Ave NW make a right turn on red without coming to a complete stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and New Jersey Ave NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 19:15:00 2.40915E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a suspended Maryland driver's license and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - PERMIT - NO VALID + DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 1:43:00 2.40914E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Washington Avenue SW failing to stay in the proper lane. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspects eyes were glassy and a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspects breath. Upon request, the Suspect failed to produce a physical drivers license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect did not have a valid permit in Maryland, District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 18:03:00 2.40913E+11 R/O observed the Suspect at the intersection of Second and D Streets NW who was believed to be the subject of an active bench warrant. A subject stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check confirmed an active warrant issued by the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
