The Complainant stated that the Suspect was fired on May 31, 2024 and was instructed to return all signed out equipment. During the end of the year inventory, the Complainant noticed the equipment was not in storage. On October 25, 2024, the equipment was pinged two blocks away from the Suspect's residence. CIS will continue to investigate. | |
DUI OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE, PWID MARIJUANA - FELONY POSS OF DRUG PARA WID, FAIL TO EXHIBIT PERMIT, FAIL TO MAKE ID KNOWN | 7:08:00 | 2.41027E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle conduct an illegal U-turn in the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. While speaking with the driver, R/O detected strong odors of marijuana and an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's vehicle and person. When asked, the Suspect failed to provide identification and exhibit a license permit. SFSTs were administered and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest. During an inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, A/O located a scale, small individual bags, a container of THC Sugar, and a significant amount of a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana in a large plastic bag. CSS responded and processed the scene. Suspect transported to HQ for processing. CIS responded to interview the Suspect. During processing, LIVESCAN revealed the Suspect's true identity. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFFENSE + POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL- VEHICLE | 23:54:00 | 2.41027E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle travelling northbound in the southbound lanes of the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted just prior to the intersection of Second Street and Washington Avenue SW. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O observed a glass bottle, containing an amber color liquid on the rear passenger floorboard. R/O smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. The suspect refused SFSTs. Due to R/O's observation of the vehicle in motion, refusal of SFST's, the odor of alcohol emanating from the driver's breath, and the open container, suspect arrested/processed at HQ. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tags revealed they belonged to another vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in DC, MD, or VA. Suspect was arrested and taken to HQ for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ. | |
FAILURE TO APPEAR X3 | 18:14:00 | 2.41024E+11 | R/O observed two individuals known to have active warrants in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed one of the individuals was subject to two active bench warrants issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia while the other was subject to one active bench warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to an active warrant issued by the Ramsey County, Minnesota Sherriff's Office. Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
THEFT II | 10:11:00 | 2.41024E+11 | R/O responded to the Rayburn House Office Building for a theft report. The Complainant stated a 55" television was stolen from an office. The television was last seen at 0900 hours on October 15, 2024. CIS notified/will follow up. | |
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS | 19:44:00 | 2.41024E+11 | R/O and AO observed an occupied vehicle displaying what appeared to be fraudulent Pennsylvania temporary tags parked in the 200 Block of I Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tags yielded no record on file. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the individual sitting in the driver seat revealed they had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, two additional fraudulent Pennsylvania temporary tags were discovered. |
