A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Third and E Streets NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had an extraditable warrant out of York, Pennsylvania. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 5:11:00 | 2.41118E+11 | R/O responded to the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for an unconscious driver asleep behind the wheel of their vehicle. When R/O approached the vehicle they observed a bottle of Vodka in clear view of the passenger floor board. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a cup emanating an alcoholic beverage in the center console. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of D Street NE. Upon approach, R/O noticed two children accompanied the driver in the vehicle. During the course of the stop, the driver wore sunglasses when initially interacting with R/O and was slow to respond to questions. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 2ND OFF + POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 1:27:00 | 2.41117E+11 | R/O responded to the area of First Street and Columbus Circle NE for an unconscious driver slumped over the steering wheel of their vehicle. While attempting to make entry into the vehicle, the Suspect regained consciousness and opened the door to communicate with the officers. R/O observed the Suspect with glassy, bloodshot eyes and drooping eyelids. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a cup emanating an alcoholic beverage in the center console. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed it was registered to another vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a cancelled Rhode Island operator's permit, a suspended Virginia operator's permit, and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. | |

Upon arrival, the Complainant stated the Suspect was in the restricted area of the Rotunda Construction. The Complainant asked the Suspect to leave the area but the Suspect refused to leave. R/O and A/O ordered the Suspect to leave the area in which the Suspect failed to comply. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect had a warrant held by the District of Columbia Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

| THEFT II | 18:23:00 | 2.41114E+11 | R/O was flagged down for a report of theft from the place of business located at 15 I Street SE. The Complainant stated the Suspect entered the store, placed items in a black trash bag, and then exited without paying. While conducting a subsequent canvass of the area, R/O found the Suspect walking with a black trash bag in the rear alley of the Unit Block of M Street SE and immediately initiated a stop. The Complainant positively identified the Suspect as the individual who stole the items. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. |
