FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE X6 + DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE | 17:03:00 | 2.41106E+11 | R/O while on patrol received an alert to a LPR hit for a vehicle in the intersection of Fifteenth Street and Constitution Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed the driver associated with the vehicle had multiple outstanding warrants. R/O observed the vehicle in the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW. After an USCP Communications WALES/NCIC check revealed the same return, R/O conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and C Street NW. While detaining the Suspect, R/O detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the Suspect's vehicle. Additionally, a WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed six active extraditable warrants, from multiple agencies, out of Maryland and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest. During the arrest, R/O noticed a Steel Welder in plain view consistent with the suspected proceeds of the crime listed on one of the warrants. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. SFSTs were conducted, which revealed multiple signs of impairment. A follow up investigation by CIS revealed the Steel Welder in the vehicle SKU number matched the stolen Steel Welder. | |
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 15:25:00 | 2.41106E+11 | CIS responded to the 500 Block of Indiana Avenue NW for an individual with an active warrant. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active arrest warrant issued by the United States District Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
POSSESSION PROHIBITED WEAPON + DISORDERLY CONDUCT - CAUSE UNREASONABLE FEAR UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES | 12:22:00 | 2.41105E+11 | R/O observed the Suspect enter the South screening facility of the Capitol Visitor Center. R/O observed a flare gun and torch in the Suspect's coat, after it was placed on the x-ray machine. R/O also found a glass bottle containing a liquid consistent with Vodka and a container emitting a strong gasoline odor inside of the Suspect's backpack during screening. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS & TAS responded to interview the Suspect. CSS responded to process the scene. | |

A traffic stop was initiated at that same location, and A/O responded to assist. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of several open containers, each emanating an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag returned to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The driver initially ignored commands to halt but was eventually stopped on the Northeast Drive. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

UNLAWFUL ENTRY INTO A BUILDING + ASSUALT ON A FEDERAL POLICE OFFICER (AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) (x2) RESISTING ARREST ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER (SIMPLE ASSAULT) | 13:35:00 | 2.41103E+11 | R/O observed a person enter a door of the James Madison Memorial Building and attempt to bypass security screening. The individual was directed to leave because the building was closed to the general public. However, the person refused to comply with verbal commands. As officers attempted to escort the offender out of the building, the individual struck one of the officers using violent arm movements and placed another officer in a chokehold. Once restrained, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. CIS were advised of the offense. | |
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - FIRST OFF + THREATS TO DO BODILY HARM - MISD | 2:43:00 | 2.41103E+11 | R/O was assisting with a traffic stop in the Unit Block of H Street NE when another vehicle stopped in the roadway. The vehicle continued to obstruct the roadway after R/O requested the Suspect keep driving. The Suspect made a threatening comment towards R/O before driving away from the scene. R/O made contact with the Suspect at the intersection of North Capitol and H Streets NE. The Suspect's language was slurred and eyes were bloodshot. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the tag yielded no record on file. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of New Jersey Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
