During the course of the search, a green, leafy substance and a single round of ammunition were discovered in the Suspect's belongings. CSS responded to test the substance, which was positive for THC. CIS confirmed the Suspect had no ammunition registered to them through the District of Columbia. Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |
NO PERMIT | 17:25:37 | 2.41E+11 | R/O observed a motorcycle without a visible license plate in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
DUI - 1ST OFF, CARRY PISTOL W/OUT LICENSE, CARRY PISTOL WHILE IMPAIRED, LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS, POSS OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALC, POSS OF UNREG FIREARM, UNLAWFUL POSS OF FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE, POSS OF UNREG AMMUNITION | 3:50:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle come to an abrupt stop in the Unit Block of D Street NW. Shortly thereafter, the Suspect exited the driver's side of the vehicle and exposed their genitalia in clear view of R/O. A stop was immediately initiated. During the course of the stop, R/O could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, which revealed multiple signs of impairment. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. An inventory search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of an open container clearly labeled as an alcoholic beverage, as well as a handgun loaded with a magazine containing 10 rounds of ammunition. The Suspect did not possess a concealed carry pistol license issued through the District of Columbia. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense. | |
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 1ST OFF | 2:55:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle facing southbound at the intersection of Second and C Streets NE stopped at a solid green light. During the course of the investigation, R/O observed the vehicle weave and drift in and out of their lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Second and East Capitol Streets NE. R/O observed the Suspect had bloodshot eyes. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and processed at HQ. | |
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE + NO PERMIT POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE | 12:13:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle in the 200 Block of Washington Avenue SW with an expired rear registration tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed a suspended Virginia permit with no status in Maryland or the District of Columbia. When asked if there were any weapons in the vehicle, the Suspect stated there was a firearm in the glove compartment. The Suspect was arrested and processed at HQ. CSS responded and located the firearm and two magazines with one magazine carrying eight (8) rounds. CIS conducted a check of the Metropolitan PD's gun registry, confirming the Suspect had no license to carry in the District of Columbia. | |
FAILURE TO APPEAR + POSSESION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA RESISTING ARREST | 11:16:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O observed the Suspect rolling a cigarette while filling it with a unknown substance in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect had confirmed warrants held by the District of Columbia Superior Court. After placing the Suspect in handcuffs, he began to move erratically causing R/O to restrain him. While searching the Suspect, R/O located 12 vials in his bookbag and his pockets containing a white powdery substance, a bag with a green leafy substance, a green vial with a open top, and a white rock substance that later tested positive for Molly. | |
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 14:51:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O were approached by an individual who provided them with a set of court documents in the Unit Block of D Street NE. Within those documents was information indicating the Suspect was subject to an arrest warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. A WALES/NCIC inquiry verified the warrant was active. Suspect was arrested and processed at HQ | |
NO PERMIT | 14:51:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O observed the Suspect backing into a reserved parking spot without a proper parking permit in the Unit Block of D Street NE. A traffic stop was initiated at the same location. A WALES/NCIC inquiry revealed the Suspect did not have a valid operator's permit through the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was arrested and transported to HQ for processing. | |
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING | 11:24:00 | 2.41E+11 | R/O responded to the Rayburn House Office Building due to a report of demonstration activity in the immediate area. Upon arrival, R/O observed multiple individuals in the adjacent hallway disrupting normal building operations by chanting and blocking the flow of pedestrian traffic. The Suspects were directed to cease and desist their activity, but they refused to do so. The Suspects were arrested and transported to HG for processing. | |
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + LOANING RIGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 20:32:00 | 2.40925E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE driving erratically and crossing into oncoming traffic. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon speaking to the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the vehicle. A NCIC/WALES check of the vehicle tags and VIN number revealed no record on file. The Suspect made statements to R/O that the tags were counterfeit. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a container containing a clear liquid with an odor consistent of Tequila was found under the drivers seat. |
