PERMIT REVOKED-OAR 18:56:00 240822002173 R/O observed a vehicle drive through a red traffic light at the intersection of Washington and Independence Avenues SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver's District of Columbia permit was revoked. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED-OAR 19:28:00 240821002164 R/O observed a vehicle with a broken and nonfunctioning taillight in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's license was revoked in the District of Columbia with no valid status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:45:00 240821002161 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling westbound in the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Constitution Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended status out of Virginia and no valid permit in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 16:23:00 240821002160 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of E Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During a search incident to arrest at Headquarters, A/O located a baggie with a green leafy substance inside. R/O initiated SFSTs, which revealed multiple signs of impairment.
PERMIT REVOKED-OAR + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 17:59:00 240820002155 R/O observed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE with an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. Upon approach, the Suspect stated the vehicle was purchased a few weeks prior with Maryland tags on the vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check through USCP Communications revealed that the Suspect's permit was revoked in the District of Columbia and the vehicle was not registered in Maryland, or Virginia. During an inventory search, two open containers of alcohol were located in the vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING - PROPERTY DAMAGE 11:05:00 240820002153 R/O responded to 200 D Street NW for a report of a hit and run. The Complainant stated the Suspect's vehicle struck the passenger side. The Suspect then struck two other vehicles and continued westbound on D Street NW without stopping. CID was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT + DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 17:29:00 240820002156 R/O observed a vehicle in the 200 Block of E Street NW with no front tag and heavy tint. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Indiana Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed a current felony wanted status out of Fairfax, VA, which was confirmed by USCP Communications. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, and the tags on the vehicle were registered to a different vehicle. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL CONDUCT CAPITOL GROUNDS 17:23:00 240820002154 R/O observed the Suspect laying down on the bench in front of the Library of Congress John Adams Building. R/O had advised the Suspect on multiple occasions that they could not sleep on any fixed or paved areas on Capitol Grounds. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE 1:46:00 240819002144 R/O observed a vehicle driving southbound in a northbound lane of the 500 Block of South Capitol Street SW. R/O immediately initiated a traffic stop at the same location. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver slurring their speech. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED OAR + DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS POSSESSION PROHIBITED WEAPON POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 16:44:00 240819002151 R/O observed a vehicle with expired tags traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O observed the Suspect was nervous and provided vague, evasive responses when questioned. Suspecting the Suspect was impaired, R/O initiated SFSTs, which revealed multiple signs of impairment. Furthermore, a WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver's District of Columbia license was revoked. The Suspect was subsequently placed under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, a red capsule inside a small bag was discovered on the Suspect's person. CSS tested the capsule, which was presumptive positive for Mephedrone. During an inventory search of the Suspect's vehicle, a large knife with brass type knuckles affixed to the handle was discovered. The Suspect was subsequently transported to Headquarters for processing.
