Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspects chanting loudly, holding up flags, and blocking the hallway. The Suspects were given three warnings to cease and desist the demonstration activity, but refused to do so. CSS responded and processed the scene. The Suspects were arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE | 0:09:00 | 240729001979 | R/O observed a vehicle drive through a solid red traffic light at the intersection of New Jersey and Massachusetts Avenues NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. While speaking to the driver, R/O detected a faint odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. After receiving consent to search the vehicle, R/O located several open containers that smelled of alcohol. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
