R/O initiated contact and conducted a WALES/NCIC check, which revealed the Suspect was subject to an active warrant issued through the Marion County Sheriff's Office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Once USCP Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
CARRY PISTOL OUTSIDE HOME/BUSINESS + POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE | 19:17:00 | 2.40917E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle drive through a solid red traffic light at Columbus Circle and Louisiana Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. During the course of the stop, the Suspect stated they were in possession of a firearm. The Suspect advised they had a handgun permit through Maryland, but no concealed carry license through the District of Columbia. CSS responded to process the scene. A 9mm handgun loaded with a 15-round magazine containing 12 rounds was confiscated. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) | 21:23:00 | 2.40917E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle without illuminated headlights traveling southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed the driver had glassy, watery eyes and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. Suspecting impairment, R/O attempted to conduct SFSTs. However, Suspect refused to consent. Given the totality of the circumstances, the Suspect was placed under arrest. During an inventory search of the vehicle, an open container clearly labeled as an alcoholic beverage was found in a cup holder on the driver's side door. The Suspect was transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O immediately conducted a stop. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to an active warrant issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, which was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting a search incident to arrest, R/O discovered a bag with a white, powdery substance in the Suspect's pockets. CSS tested the substance, which was positive for Oxycodone. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's rear tag revealed it was expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. Further investigation revealed the tag was intentionally altered with a counterfeit expiration sticker. CSS responded to process the scene. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had a suspended Virginia driver's license and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
VOYEURISM - RECORDING | 17:00:00 | 2.40916E+11 | R/O was approached by an individual who claimed someone was taking unwanted photos of them in a private setting within Union Station. The Complainant stated they observed a cell phone that appeared to be taking pictures over the side of the bathroom stall they were using. When the Complainant confronted the individual holding the phone, the person ran away. The Suspect was last seen heading northbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A search for the Suspect met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
SIMPLE ASSAULT + RESISTING ARREST LEWD, INDECENT, OR OBSCENE ACTS (DISORDERLY CONDUCT) | 15:07:00 | 2.40916E+11 | R/O observed an individual exposing their genitalia to passing cars in the 200 Block of First Street NW. R/O immediately initiated a stop, but the Suspect attempted to leave the area despite multiple commands to halt. As R/O effected arrest, the Suspect refused to place their hands behind their back. Once the Suspect was under control, a nearby bystander approached the scene to advise they had been struck by the Suspect prior to R/O's arrival. A witness corroborated this statement. The Suspect was subsequently transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
FLEEING FROM A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE + FLEE LAW ENFORCEMTENT OFFICER | 17:22:00 | 2.40915E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle with a covered rear tag traveling in the 400 Block of North Capitol Street NE/NW. A traffic stop was attempted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE/NW. The vehicle fled and was last seen traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on North Capitol Street NE/NW. Further attempts to locate the vehicle met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. |
