THEFT (THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS OR ACCESSORIES) 7:00:00 250628002137 R/O responded to the 200 Block of South Capitol Street SE for a theft report. The Complainant stated they parked their vehicle at approximately 0705 hours and upon returning at approximately 0710 hours they discovered their license plate was missing. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 3:09:00 250628002135 R/O observed a vehicle sit for several seconds at a green traffic signal at the intersection of North Capitol and E Streets NW. The driver made several abrupt stops and sat through another green signal at Louisiana Avenue and North Capitol Street NW. The driver then passed through a yellow signal and made an abrupt turn onto the Unit Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. The drivers speech was slow and their eyes were red and watery. SFSTs were administered. Due to many signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE + URINATING IN PUBLIC 13:36:00 250627002125 R/O responded to a radio call for a man urinating in public on First Street. R/O witnessed the incident and saw the Suspect expose himself. A stop was conducted at the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO VALID PERMIT 21:02:00 250627002134 R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW with no headlights running. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY 8:25:00 250627002124 R/O observed an individual walking on the Plaza who matched the description of a Suspect barred from U.S. Capitol Grounds. R/O conducted a stop in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect confirmed they had an active barring notice from U.S. Capitol Grounds. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
SIMPLE ASSAULT 13:36:00 250626002118 R/O responded to a protest at First and East Capitol Street, NE, for the report of an assault. R/O located the Complainant in the 100 Block of East Capitol Street. The Complainant stated Suspect-1 spat in their face and Suspect-2 grabbed the phone out of their hand. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 14:26:00 250625002105 R/O observed multiple individuals in a Senate Office Building screaming loudly and creating a disruption. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported for processing.
ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR 11:11:00 250625002095 R/O-1 responded to a radio call of an officer being assaulted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. R/O-2 advised R/O-1 that he was spit on during a contact with the Suspect who then fled the scene. The vehicle was later located in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue NE by A/O and fled the scene again at a high rate of speed. R/O-3 was on scene when the offense occurred and provided a witness statement. R/O-3 completed a report for the offense and cleared the scene. The Suspect remains at large.
CROSSING A POLICE LINE 14:23:00 250625002097 R/O responded to demonstration activity in a Senate Office Building. Upon arrival, R/O observed the Suspect cross an established police line after being instructed not to do so. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING 13:58:00 250625002102 R/O responded to a Senate Office Building for an active demonstration. R/O observed multiple individuals chanting and disrupting normal building operations. The individuals were given multiple warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activity but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported for processing.
