The driver made several abrupt stops and sat through another green signal at Louisiana Avenue and North Capitol Street NW. The driver then passed through a yellow signal and made an abrupt turn onto the Unit Block of D Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. The drivers speech was slow and their eyes were red and watery. SFSTs were administered. Due to many signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

| ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR | 11:11:00 | 250625002095 | R/O-1 responded to a radio call of an officer being assaulted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. R/O-2 advised R/O-1 that he was spit on during a contact with the Suspect who then fled the scene. The vehicle was later located in the 300 Block of Constitution Avenue NE by A/O and fled the scene again at a high rate of speed. R/O-3 was on scene when the offense occurred and provided a witness statement. R/O-3 completed a report for the offense and cleared the scene. The Suspect remains at large. | |
