CPWL - CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE, POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE 20:12:00 2.41E+11 R/O stopped suspect in 100 blk of C St NE for right-on-red violation at 2nd St/Independence Ave SE. At stop R/O observed ammunition and magazine in vehicle w/search yielding unregistered pistol. Suspect had no license to carry pistol. Suspect arrested.
OPERATING AFTER REVOCATION + FAILURE TO EXHIBIT 18:00:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a vehicle driving without state registration stickers in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect's District of Columbia permit was revoked with no status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 2ND OFF + POSS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MISD 21:40:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a vehicle without running lights travel eastbound through the intersection of Third Street and Independence Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed the driver was slurring their words and detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted. Due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a bottle of Promethazine Hydrochloride oral solution and a baby bottle containing a green liquid were found under the driver's seat. The substance within both bottles had an odor consistent with cough syrup. CSS responded to process the scene.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 17:00:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a vehicle displaying what a appeared to be a counterfeit temporary tag while travelling in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag yielded no file on record. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC - 2X NO VALID PERMIT 21:07:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a traffic accident at the intersection of First and D Street SE. A WALE/NCIC check was conducted of both drivers and revealed neither of Suspects has a valid operator's permit for the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
TRAFFIC-DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + CARRY PISTOL W/OUT LICENSE, POSS OF UNREG AMMUNITION, POSS OF UNREG FIREARM/UNLAWFUL POSS OF A FIREARM/DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE 20:17:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a vehicle sitting through a green light at the intersection of Third Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed the Suspect's eyes were droopy. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O observed the butt end of a pistol sticking out of a black fanny pack. CSS processed the scene. Further examination of the fanny pack revealed one, 10-round magazine containing eight 9mm ammunition cartridges. A WALES/NCIC check of the firearm revealed that it was not registered in the District of Columbia. CIS notified.
PERMIT SUSPENDED + LOANING REGISTRATION MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 15:00:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a vehicle in the 200 Block of I Street SW with an expired temporary tag. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag revealed it belonged to different vehicle, A traffic stop was conducted in the 1000 Block of South Capitol Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check on the Suspect revealed a suspended District of Columbia operator's permit with no status in Maryland or Virginia. A WALES/NCIC of the VIN revealed the vehicle was not registered. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to HQ.
CARRY PISTOL W/OUT LIC, UUV, POSS OF UNREG AMMUNITION, POSS OF UNREG FIREARM, RECEIVING STOLEN PROP $1000 OR MORE, LEAVE AFTER COLLIDING - PROP DAMAGE ABSCONDER (CUSTODY ORDER), FLEE FROM POLICE 16:11:00 2.41E+11 R/O monitored a Metropolitan Police Dept radio transmission for a vehicle involved in an armed carjacking. R/O observed that vehicle traveling in the 500 Block of East Capitol Street at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic and passing through solid red signals. The vehicle crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of 17th St. and Independence Avenue SE and fled. R/O attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The Suspects drove to 22nd St and Independence Avenue SE and bailed out of the vehicle and foot pursuit ensued. Suspect 1 apprehended in grassy area of Anacostia Riverwalk. A/O observed Suspect 2 running under Whitney Young Bridge with a handgun. A/O ordered Suspect 2 to drop the gun. Suspect 2 dislodged the magazine of the gun and threw the magazine and gun into the river. Suspect 2 apprehended. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspects revealed an active arrest warrant held by DC Superior Ct. Suspects transported to HQ for processing. CIS notified.
No Permit 1:11:00 2.41E+11 R/O observed a vehicle being driven without headlights in the 300 Block of H Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PUBLIC INDECENCY -A LEWD EXPOSURE OF THE SEXUAL ORGANS 10:12:00 2.41E+11 R/O responded to a nude male walking in the Unit Block of E St. SE. A stop was made in the 100 Block of North Carolina Ave SE. Suspect was arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
