THEFT FIRST DEGREE (ALL OTHER LARCENY) 19:15:00 2.50413E+11 R/O responded to the 200 Block of Maryland Avenue SW for the report of a stolen bicycle. Upon arrival, the Witness stated that they had rented a rideshare bicycle and had gotten off of it to take pictures of the area. When they returned, the bicycle was no longer where the Witness parked it. After a search of the area, a bicycle with a matching serial number was located near the south side of Grant Memorial Statue.
NO PERMIT 13:17:00 2.50412E+11 R/O observed a vehicle traveling with an expired tag in the 400 Block of Second Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 22:06:00 2.504E+11 R/O observed a vehicle travelling in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE without a registration year affixed to the tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag was registered to a vehicle different than the one observed by the R/O. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of D Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS COUNTERFEIT TAGS 17:11:00 2.50412E+11 R/O observed a vehicle displaying a counterfeit temporary tag and traveling westbound in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed no valid registration on file. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended permit out of Virginia and no valid status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. Further investigation revealed the Suspect had covered their expired Virginia tag with the fraudulent Virginia temporary tag. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT (CAUSE UNREASON FEAR) + POSS PROHIBITED WEAPON - OTHER 18:43:00 2.50412E+11 R/O responded to the Unit Block of Constitution Avenue NE for a report of a person with a knife. Upon arrival, R/O observed an individual matching the description of the Suspect lookout and initiated a stop near North Barricade. During the course of R/O's investigation, the Suspect stated they had a knife on them. A/Os performed a consented search of the Suspect's bag, which yielded negative results for a weapon. A/O conducted a frisk of the Suspect and located a foldable knife in their front pocket. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene.
SIMPLE ASSAULT 18:28:00 2.5041E+11 R/O responded to a report of an assault in progress in the Unit Block of E Street NE. Once on scene, R/O spoke with two individuals who admitted to arguing and striking one other with their hands. Both Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS advised of the offense.
NO PERMIT - 2ND OFFENSE 21:06:00 2.504E+11 R/O observed a vehicle stopped at the red light at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and Second Street NE without the headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect did not have a valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:45:00 2.50411E+11 R/Os observed a vehicle travelling in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE with an expired registration tag. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended license in Virginia with no status in the District of Columbia or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 10:11:00 2.50411E+11 R/O responded to the Russell Senate Office Building for multiple duress alarms. Upon arrival, R/O noticed the Suspect causing a major disturbance inside the room. The Suspect exited the room and continued with the behavior in the hallway. R/O gave multiple warnings to stop and cease the behavior, but the Suspect failed to comply. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 16:51:00 2.5041E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling in the 200 Block of H Street NE. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 700 Block of Fourth Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had an expired District of Columbia operator's permit and no permit status in Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
