While conversing with the suspect, R/O observed that the Suspect was not making eye contact. SFSTs were conducted. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Suspect fled and was apprehended at the intersection of First Street and Independence Avenue SE, after forcefully pushing the Officer to avoid arrest. The Suspect was placed under arrest, upon release from Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), he will be transported to Headquarters for processing. |
