NO PERMIT 15:38:00 250401000983 R/O observed a vehicle with no front tag traveling in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. R/O initiated a traffic stop at the same location. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Suspect arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
LEAVING AFTER COLLIDING 13:39:00 250401000975 R/O responded to a report of a traffic accident in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SE. Only one vehicle with damage was discovered at the scene. The Complainant stated a silver sedan struck the front driver's side door of their vehicle as they were pulling away from the curb and subsequently left the scene. Attempts to locate the striking vehicle yielded negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was advised of the offense and will continue to investigate.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE + UNLAWFUL ACTIVITES, POSS OF UNREG FIREARM, POSS OF UNREG AMMUNITION 18:21:00 250331000970 R/Os were approached by an individual at the screening site prior to the Senate Chamber of the U.S. Capitol Building who stated that they were armed and did not want to proceed through screening. Upon further investigation, it was found that the Suspect did not possess a license to carry a pistol in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. A .40 caliber handgun loaded with a 7-round magazine and 1 round in the chamber and a second magazine loaded with 7-rounds were recovered from the Suspect. CIS responded to HQ and conducted an interview of the Suspect.
NO PERMIT 16:38:00 250331000965 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the Unit Block of Third Street SW displaying expired tags. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + ALLOW OPERATION W/ IMPROPER TAGS 21:03:00 250330000949 R/O observed a vehicle conduct several traffic violations near the intersection of First Street and Louisiana Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. R/O also observed the license plate on the vehicle was fraudulent due to it missing several key features. The Suspect arrested and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + COUNTERFEIT TAGS FAILURE TO APPEAR 21:54:00 250329000945 R/O observed a vehicle displaying counterfeit rear tags traveling westbound in the Unit Block of D Street NW. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the same area. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tag revealed an expired registration. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's Identification Card revealed no driving status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. An active bench warrant out of the District of Columbia was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was arrested and processed at HQ.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 15:49:00 250329000939 R/O observed a vehicle parked irregularly with the engine running in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. Upon approaching the vehicle, R/O noticed the Suspect in the driver's seat asleep. R/O noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle and the breath of the Suspect. The Suspect's eyes were watery and glassy, and verbal responses were delayed. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a solo cup with liquid consistent with that of red wine and two open bottles of wine on the back seat.
CARRYING A PISTOL WITHOUT A LICENSE + POSS. OF UNREG. FIREARMS/UNLAWFUL POSS. OF A FIREARM OR DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE POSS. OF UNREG. AMMUNITION POSS. OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE NO PERMIT POSS. OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 16:28 250329000941 R/O observed a vehicle missing its front tag in the Unit Block of D Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check on the vehicle revealed a suspended registration out of Maryland. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed a suspended permit out of Florida with no driver status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. R/O observed a red solo cup in the passenger side of the vehicle with an odor consistent with that of an alcoholic beverage. R/O asked the Suspect if there were any firearms in the vehicle and the Suspect responded in the affirmative. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene and found an open container of alcohol on the rear floorboard. CIS conducted a custodial interview, and confirmed through MPDs Gun Registration Unit the Suspect did not have a carry permit in the District of Columbia. The located firearm was confirmed to have a 17 round capacity magazine with 14 9mm rounds inside and one round in the chamber.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 3:47:00 250329000935 R/O observed an individual asleep behind the wheel in a permit only parking zone. R/O conducted a welfare check in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O asked the Suspect for their identification card several times and the Suspect failed to comply. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a misdemeanor bench warrant from Prince George's County, Maryland that was confirmed through USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL 21:41:00 250328000934 R/O observed a vehicle make multiple traffic infractions in the area of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed a suspended Maryland registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. Upon approach of the vehicle, R/O detected a moderate smell of alcohol emitting from the Suspects breath. R/O also noticed a tumbler in the vehicle. When R/O opened the tumbler to inspect it, the smell was consistent with the smell of an alcoholic beverage. SFSTs were administered and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
