A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of E Street SE. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, eighteen (18) rounds of 9mm ammunition were found in the car. The Suspect admitted they had no firearms registered in the District of Columbia. CSS processed the scene. CIS advised of the offense. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to a warrant for Robbery in the First Degree issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Upon confirmation of the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS responded to interview the Suspect. | |

While speaking to the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver had bloodshot and glassy eyes. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O located two open containers of alcohol near the driver's seat. | |
