R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NW. R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect's vehicle. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. SFST's were administered and due to multiple signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DISORDERLY CONDUCT - DISRUPT GATHERING + RESISTING ARREST | 11:28:00 | 250919003031 | R/O observed an agitated individual walking towards a press conference at a Press Area of the U.S. Capitol Building. The Suspect then climbed over a wall separating the public from the press conference and proceeded to disrupt the press conference by screaming incoherently. While being placed under arrest, the Suspect actively resisted by being uncooperative and struggling with the R/O. The Suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the tag confirmed the expired status. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. While speaking to the driver, R/O detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. SFSTs were conducted by A/O and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE-1ST OFF + NO PERMIT | 2:08:00 | 250919003026 | R/O observed a vehicle driving westbound in the 400 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE fail to maintain its lane several times. A WALES/NCIC check of the tag returned expired, and a traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of A Street NE. Upon approach, R/O detected a strong smell of alcohol emanating from the vehicle, the Suspect's eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and they admitted to have consumed two alcoholic beverages recently. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect by word of mouth revealed that they had an expired driving permit out of Washington, a suspended permit out of Virginia, and no valid permit out of the District of Columbia or Maryland. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION + POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE | 18:36:00 | 250918003024 | R/O observed a vehicle with an expired tag, driving erratically though stalled traffic southbound in the 600 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle revealed that it was associated with a total of $13,580 worth of unpaid traffic citations originating out of the District of Columbia. The District of Columbia Department of Public Works (DC DPW) was notified to tow the vehicle, and an inventory search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search, a pistol case was discovered underneath the driver's seat containing a large capacity magazine loaded with 17 rounds of 9mm ammunition. An additional large capacity magazine was discovered in the trunk loaded with 16 rounds of ammunition. A check with the MPD Gun Registration Unit confirmed that the Suspect did not possess a license to carry a firearm in the District of Columbia, nor was the ammunition registered. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS were notified and conducted a custodial interview of the Suspect. | |

Upon arrival, R/O observed multiple Suspects sitting in a circle, chanting and blocking pathways. The Suspects were given several warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities but failed to do so. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

| FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE | 1:02:00 | 250916002977 | R/O conducted a random WALES/NCIC check of a tag affixed to a vehicle traveling in the Unit Block of H Street NE. The inquiry revealed the registered owner of the vehicle was subject to a warrant issued out of Delaware. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted in the 500 Block of H Street NE. The driver of the vehicle was then positively identified as the individual listed in the warrant. Once Communications confirmed the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
