A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed multiple outstanding warrants through the District of Columbia. The warrants were confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had two active bench warrants issued by DC Superior Court for Failure to Appear. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

R/O also observed that the vehicle had major front end damage and the vehicle appeared to have collided with a traffic light post at this location. An investigation revealed that suspect's vehicle had collided with two other parked vehicles in the unit block of F Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O could smell an overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from susspect and observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage in plain view within the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to the scene. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE. After stopping the vehicle the Suspect opened the driver's door and fled westbound on foot. The Suspect was apprehended in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant issued by the Charles County, Maryland Sheriff's Office and an active warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
