A traffic stop was attempted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NE/NW. The vehicle fled and was last seen traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on North Capitol Street NE/NW. Further attempts to locate the vehicle met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
| DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 1ST OFF + AUTHORITY TO CARRY FIREARM IN CERTAIN PLACES FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES CARRYING A LICENSED PISTOL WHILE IMPAIRED | 3:02:00 | 2.40915E+11 | R/O observed a vehicle pass through a solid red light at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Second Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Second and C Streets SW. During the course of the stop, R/O noticed that the Suspect's eyes were watery and a strong odor of alcohol emanated from the Suspect's breath. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O discovered a firearm loaded with seven (7) rounds in the magazine and one (1) round in the chamber. CIS conducted a check of the Metropolitan Police Department's gun registry, which verified the Suspect has a valid concealed carry license for the District of Columbia. CSS responded and processed the scene. | |

R/O conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of First Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Independence Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O observed the Suspects eyes were glassy and a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspects breath. Upon request, the Suspect failed to produce a physical drivers license. A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect did not have a valid permit in Maryland, District of Columbia or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

| FLEEING FROM A POLICE OFFICER-FELONY + ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER RECKLESS DRIVING DISPLAY EXPIRED TAGS LOANING REGISTRATION-MISUSE OF TAGS COUNTERFEIT TAGS | 11:40:00 | 2.40913E+11 | R/O-1, R/O-2, and R/O-3 observed a vehicle parked illegally on the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. Upon approach, R/O-2 began a conversation with the Suspect when the Suspect started the engine and put the vehicle into gear and started to drive away at a high rate of speed. R/O-2 had to step back from the vehicle in order to not be struck. R/O-1 noted the Suspect ran a solid red light at the intersection of New Jersey and Louisiana Avenue NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicles temporary tag, taped to the back window, returned with no record associated with the vehicle. R/O-1, R/O-2, and R/O-3 canvassed the area with negative results. R/O-2 contacted Hyattsville Police Department which confirmed the vehicle did belong to the Suspect and did not have a current registration, no license plates and no status in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. CIS was notified. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended license out of the District of Columbia with no status in Maryland and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
