NO PERMIT 16:52:00 2.41016E+11 R/O-1 and R/O-2 observed a vehicle fail to use their turn signal while changing lanes, in the 200 Block of Independence Avenue, SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 12:38:00 2.41016E+11 R/O observed two individuals smoking marijuana in the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE. A stop was conducted, in the same location. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspects revealed, one Suspect had an active warrant out of the District Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 9:52:00 2.41015E+11 R/O witnessed a scooter strike a parked and unoccupied vehicle in the 700 Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FAILURE TO APPEAR (OAG) 9:24:00 2.41015E+11 R/O observed an individual shouting at pedestrians in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant for failure to appear through DC Superior Court. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 17:02:00 2.41014E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling at a high rate of speed in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of D Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
THEFT IN THE SECOND DEGREE - FROM AUTO + DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 5:55:00 2.41014E+11 R/O responded to a report of a theft from an automobile in the 500 Block of New Jersey Avenue SE. The Complainant stated they parked their vehicle at that location the previous night and, upon their return the following day, discovered the vehicle's rear window was broken and several items were missing from inside. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate.
NO PERMIT + ALTERED TAGS 21:21:00 2.41014E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration travelling in the Unit Block of H Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of H Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle's tags revealed they expired in 2021 despite having a sticker indicating they were valid through 2023. A WALES/NCIC check of the driver revealed they had a suspended Maryland operator's permit and no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + NO PERMIT FAILURE TO EXHIBIT LICENSE 17:49:00 2.41013E+11 R/O observed a vehicle with a covered tag pass a red arrow signal at the intersection of South Capitol Street and Washington Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Washington Avenue SW. While speaking with the Suspect, R/O noticed the Suspect's eyes were glazed over and the Suspect was unable to provide R/O with a driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an Identification Card only in the District of Columbia, with no driving status in Maryland or Virginia. SFSTs were conducted, and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE - 2ND OFFENSE 4:18:00 2.41012E+11 R/O passed by a vehicle stopped in the right lane and saw the driver with their head down. R/O turned back around to check on the welfare of the driver. R/O conducted a welfare check in the 400 Block of Washington Avenue SW. Upon approach, R/O knocked on the driver side window but the Suspect did not wake up. The Suspect awoke after several seconds. R/O observed an overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspects breath. The Suspects eyes were red and speech was at a whisper. SFSTs were conducted and due to numerous signs of impairment the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 8:17:00 2.41011E+11 R/O observed an individual known to have an active warrant from a previous BOLO outside of Union Station. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a fully extraditable warrant from Marion County Sheriff's Office in Indiana. The warrant was confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
