DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY LESS THAN $1000 10:22:00 240825002194 R/O responded to the Exxon located at 200 Massachusetts Avenue NE for a report of damaged property. Per the Complainant, the Suspect engaged in an argument and then damaged several display racks and products at the store before departing towards Union Station. A canvass of the area met with negative results. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS investigating.
ROBBERY IN THE FIRST DEGREE 23:43:00 240825002198 R/O observed a vehicle proceed through a red light without stopping at the intersection of South Capitol and M Streets SE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of M Street SE. During the course of stop, the Suspect, a backseat passenger, presented R/O with their District of Columbia learner's permit. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to a warrant for Robbery in the First Degree issued through the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Upon confirmation of the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS responded to interview the Suspect.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL (POCA) 17:44:00 240825002196 R/O observed a vehicle with an expired vehicle registration travelling in the Unit Block of D Street SE. A traffic stop was conducted at the same location. During the course of the stop, R/O observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage in plain view within the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 2:23:00 240825003192 R/O observed a vehicle stopped in the Unit Block of D Street SE, with its hazard lights flashing. R/O approached the vehicle to conduct a welfare check. While speaking to the Suspect, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver had bloodshot and glassy eyes. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, A/O located two open containers of alcohol near the driver's seat.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 1ST OFFENSE 3:22:00 240824002186 R/O observed a vehicle with no rear lights illuminated traveling southbound in the 600 Block of First Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of First Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver had bloodshot eyes. SFSTs were conducted, and due to numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 20:28:00 240823002184 R/O observed a vehicle pass through a red light at the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and E Street NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had a suspended learner's permit in Maryland with no permit status in the District of Columbia or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 12:34:00 240823002180 R/O observed a vehicle that was parked and occupied in a permit only parking spot located in the 100 Block of East Capitol Street. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no permit status in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 21:06:00 240822002174 R/O observed a vehicle driving aggressively in the 100 Block of Third Street SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 Block of Third Street SW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no permit status the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE 11:31:00 240822002169 R/O observed the Suspect in the 600 Block of First Street NE showing signs of distress. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect was subject to an extraditable warrant issued by the Prince George's County (Maryland) Sheriff's Office. Upon confirmation of the warrant, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED-OAR 18:56:00 240822002173 R/O observed a vehicle drive through a red traffic light at the intersection of Washington and Independence Avenues SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the driver's District of Columbia permit was revoked. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
