TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS | 18:21:00 | 241122003012 | R/O and A/O responded to the intersection of Washington Avenue and C Street SW for the report of a traffic accident. After approaching one of the involved vehicles, R/O and A/O detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the Suspects vehicle. The Suspect admitted to consuming alcohol. SFSTs were administered and due to the numerous signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
POSSESSION OF UNREGISTERED AMMUNITION | 9:47:00 | 241122003006 | R/O observed a vehicle parked illegally in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NW. While speaking to the Suspect, RO observed a box of 9mm handgun ammunition in plain view inside of the vehicle. The Suspect was removed from the vehicle without incident. An inquiry through the Metropolitan Police Department Gun Registry Unit revealed the Suspect did not possess a permit to carry a firearm or ammunition in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to process the scene. TAS and CIS were notified. | |
THEFT FIRST DEGREE (STOLEN AUTO) | 15:41:00 | 241121003000 | R/O was flagged down in the Unit Block of Louisiana Avenue NE for the report of a stolen vehicle. The Complainant stated that they parked their vehicle at the same location at approximately 0645 hours. The Complainant returned at approximately 1530 hours and noticed their vehicle was gone. A canvass of the immediate area was met with negative results. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
DEFACE PRIVATE/PUBLIC PROPERTY | 14:30:00 | 241121002999 | R/O responded to the Library of Congress Madison Building for a report of graffiti on the wall inside of a room. R/O arrived and confirmed an unknown Suspect wrote on a wall with a black marker. CSS responded to process the scene. CIS was notified and will continue to investigate. | |
NO PERMIT + MISUSE OF TAGS | 20:56:00 | 241121003003 | R/O observed a vehicle traveling in the 400 Block of South Capitol Street displaying an expired registration. R/O conducted a WALES/NCIC check of the vehicle confirmed the tags were expired and belonged to a different vehicle. R/O conducted a traffic stop in the Unit Block of E Street SE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a suspended operator's permit in Virginia with no valid status in the District of Columbia, or Maryland. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES | 11:10:00 | 2.4112E+11 | R/O observed what appeared to be a magazine with ammunition inside of a handbag on the x-ray screen at the Second Street Door of the Ford House Office Building. An administrative search of the handbag confirmed a magazine loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene. CIS conducted an inquiry with the Metropolitan Police Department Gun Registry Unit, which confirmed the Suspect holds a license for concealed carry through the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. | |
CROWDING, OBSTRUCTING, OR INCOMMODING | 11:36:00 | 2.41119E+11 | R/O observed multiple Suspects chanting, and disrupting normal building operations inside the Hart Senate Office Building. The Suspects were given warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to stop. The Suspects were placed under arrest and transported to 67 K Street SW for processing. | |

Both Suspects were given warnings to cease and desist their demonstration activities, but failed to stop. While attempting to place the the two Suspects under arrest, they physically resisted. DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE- 1ST OFF + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL | 5:11:00 | 2.41118E+11 | R/O responded to the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for an unconscious driver asleep behind the wheel of their vehicle. When R/O approached the vehicle they observed a bottle of Vodka in clear view of the passenger floor board. SFSTs were conducted and due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. During an inventory search of the vehicle, R/O discovered a cup emanating an alcoholic beverage in the center console. |
