At approximately 1800 hours, the Complainant noticed an expensive, golden colored, eagle shaped bookend was missing from the front desk. A search for the Suspect was met with negative results. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed multiple outstanding warrants through the District of Columbia. The warrants were confirmed by USCP Communications. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |

A WALES/NCIC check revealed that the Suspect had two active bench warrants issued by DC Superior Court for Failure to Appear. The driver of the striking vehicle admitted to not having a driver's license. A WALES/NCIC check was done through USCP Communications using a Guatemalan passport. The WALES/NCIC check revealed no permit status in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. | |
| TRAFFIC - DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS + TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - LEAVING SCENE-PROPERTY DAMAGE POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL-VEHICLE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - PROPERTY DAMAGE ONLY | 20:44:00 | 240904002289 | R/O observed a vehicle stopped and parked in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. R/O also observed that the vehicle had major front end damage and the vehicle appeared to have collided with a traffic light post at this location. An investigation revealed that suspect's vehicle had collided with two other parked vehicles in the unit block of F Street NW. During the course of the stop, R/O could smell an overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from susspect and observed an open container consistent with an alcoholic beverage in plain view within the vehicle. SFSTs were subsequently administered. Due to multiple signs of impairment, the Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded to the scene. | |

| FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE + FAILURE TO APPEAR + FAIL TO OBEY OFFICER | 17:00:00 | 240904002287 | R/O observed a vehicle make an illegal right turn on a red signal at the intersection of Columbus Circle and E Street NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 400 Block of Delaware Avenue NE. After stopping the vehicle the Suspect opened the driver's door and fled westbound on foot. The Suspect was apprehended in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an active warrant issued by the Charles County, Maryland Sheriff's Office and an active warrant issued by the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. |
