NO PERMIT + Misuse of tags 16:45:00 240815002127 R/O observed a scooter with an obstructed tag in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was initiated in the 200 Block of D Street NE. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the tag belonged to another scooter and the Suspect had no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT 15:46:00 240814002112 R/O and A/O observed a vehicle with an expired registration traveling northbound in the 100 Block of Third Street NW. A Traffic stop was conducted in the 200 Block of Third Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed an expired license in the District of Columbia and no status in Maryland and Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE + RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $1000 OR MORE LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS NO PERMIT 16:54:00 240813002105 R/O observed a vehicle that appeared to have a fraudulent tag traveling eastbound in the 100 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE. A WALES/NCIC check on the vehicle came back stolen and the tag came back as not on file. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed a revoked license in Virginia and no status in Maryland or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CIS was notified.
CARRYING DANGEROUS WEAPON (OUTSIDE HOME OR PLACE OF BUSINESS) + POSS PROHIBITED WEAPON SIMPLE ASSAULT 2:49:00 240813002101 R/O responded to the 100 Block of Independence Avenue SE for the report of an assault. R/O found the Suspect in the same location. The Complainant identified the Suspect in a show up as the person that hit him. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. CSS responded and processed the scene and discovered a rock wrapped in a t-shirt as the weapon used.
NO PERMIT 17:48:00 240812002098 R/O observed a vehicle proceed through a solid red signal at the intersection of First Street and Independence Avenue SW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Independence Avenue SW. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect revealed no valid permit in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
PERMIT REVOKED-OAR + POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL - VEHICLE 21:21:00 240812002100 R/O observed a vehicle with an obstructed rear tag traveling eastbound in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NW. A traffic stop was conducted in the Unit Block of Columbus Circle NE. A WALES/NCIC check of the Suspect's District of Columbia identification card revealed a revoked permit status in the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle, a cup was located with a liquid which was consistent with that of an alcoholic beverage.
THEFT SECOND DEGREE (ALL OTHER LARCENY) 17:30:00 240810002081 R/O while on patrol was flagged down in the Unit Block of Massachusetts Avenue NE for a theft report. The Complainant reported leaving their electric scooters around 1400 hours. The Complainant returned at 1735 hours and the scooters were gone. A canvas of the area was met with negative results. No usable lookout was obtained by R/O or USCP Command Center.
ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER (SIMPLE ASSAULT) + DISORDERLY CONDUCT 18:41:00 240724002077 R/O responded to the intersection of First and East Capitol Streets SE for a report of disorderly conduct. R/O observed the Suspect in the 300 Block of First Street SE, being verbally aggressive towards the public. The Suspect then threw an unlit match at R/O, striking him in the upper body. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
NO PERMIT + LOANING REGISTRATION, MISUSE OF TEMPORARY TAGS 18:04:00 240727002076 R/O observed a vehicle traveling northbound, in the 500 Block of North Capitol Street NW, displaying an altered temporary tag. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the vehicle registration was expired. A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 Block of North Capitol Street NW. A WALES/NCIC check revealed the Suspect had no status in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia. The Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
BENCH WARRANT 10:30:00 240808002065 R/O observed the Suspect smoking in the Lower Senate Park. R/O conducted a name check of the Suspect which revealed the Suspect had a bench warrant out of the District of Columbia. Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Headquarters for processing.
